There's almost a perverse zest in me to drive to my local library and
check out some of the books that made the list of the banned books
list. I've read 36 of the titles/series of the 100. But
there's that part of me that is fairly crackling with insane glee over
the prospect of gobbling a few more....

My favorite banned book was "Mickey in the Night Kitchen" by Maurice Sendak. Man, I read that to my kids over and over! Mickey's adorable little naked rump really made them giggle!
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately, that book got lost in this last move of ours. Serves me right, since I stole it from the library in the first place!
