giggling with giddy delight

last night, i enjoyed my feather bed so much so, i actually giggled with giddy delight.  if you can find one for a reasonable amount, i'd urge you to splurge.  most feather beds run a good bit of money (like two months' rent; sorta like the ole engagement ring guideline), but if you keep your eye open and hunt around, you may just find one for a good price.  if you've never tried one, go to a furniture store (or anywhere mattresses are sold) and flop down on a feather topper.  It's similar, I'd think.  I'd offer stopping by my place to flop on mine, but that's probably not a good idea.  Cuz of the peevish pets, of course.
