my guy has been so intense, anxious, and rushed to meet deadlines and undertaking so many largely important projects that this weekend was a true pleasure for us both. i love to see him so at ease and relaxed and the tension just easing back some (not erasing completely, that wouldn't be realistic; but the relieving to some point). friday night, the movie really seemed to make him much more relaxed and pleased. yesterday, we listened to an audio book (while i crochet'd his sister's baby-girl's blanket). he lay next to me while i sat on the bed, and seemed so much more peaceful and restive, dozing in and out and allowing himself to shift his tremendous pressured obligation's weight enough so that he could unwind. currently, he is out for a ride, maybe we will listen to stephen king's "lisey's story" when he comes back.
i'm thankful for him and this very enjoyable weekend.
