Back in the 80s, I listened and sang along with Tracy Chapman as she wistfully spoke of a fast car that would led to a better life, and a mountain o' things, and all those songs from that album. I knew them all and could belt them out in my little ford escort when I was zooming from class to work to home and back.
She continues to release amazingly great music. She touches my heart and soul. She has also been involved in so many worthy causes. Tracy's new album is soon to be released, within the month. Maybe I'll get it for my birthday in November.
