A little over two weeks ago, I started to work on this afghan. Pictured here are ten of the fourteen rows the afghan will be. I'm still making the granny~squares to complete the last four rows. So far, I've completed 150 of the 196 squares needed. After all the rows are connected, then I will replace the thread with yarn to connect the squares in the columns. It'll be easier to see and understand after the entire piece is completed, I promise!
This past week, I've been slower than usual, due to having my wisdom teeth removed. Apparently, the speed of healing is pretty fast, which means that the itching of healing tissue is driving me insane! But I'm glad that my mouth is healing so nicely and know that this too shall pass.
